Stab binding is
just what it sounds like -- the cord is sewn directly through the cover and
the text block, and the top cover is hinged. This binding makes it easy to incorporate beads and
other objects into the spine.

I love this paper -- it's paper over a fabric mesh, really. It has a
slightly crinkly, strong texture. The binding cord is strung with
glass beads.
The inside cover is a beautiful satiny
white pattern, like frost on a window.

"Lokta Flower Embedded" -- $45
Lokta Oil paper is made by laminating plant material between two thin sheets, soaking it in oil, and allowing it to dry in the sun. The result is a beautiful parchment-like sheet. The bookboard underneath is painted white to allow the colors to pop out. The binding is embellished with glass beads.
